Working For A Better Future

Moreton-in-Marsh Town Council

Welcome to the new Moreton-in-Marsh Town Council website. We hope the new layout is easier to use, helping you find the information you need more quickly. Please look through the menus above to find what you need, or use our list of common concerns to find who to talk to.

This site provides information on what the Council is doing, local news and events, and how to report problems. You can also subscribe to updates using the tool to the right. These updates are emailed out regularly, so you can keep up with what’s going on.

Your Councillors all live locally and are working to make Moreton better for everyone. This includes everything from ensuring the right kind of housing is built, to protecting our heritage and ecology, to improving the local economy, and everything in between. The Council Projects menu lists our major activities.

We want this site to provide the latest information, to help you get problems solved quickly, and to make it easy for you to send us your thoughts, hopes and concerns. Please contact the Council or check which council does what.

We want to develop the site to be as useful for the community as possible, so we will be updating pages and adding new sections over time. In the meantime, please let us know what else you would like to see here.

Your Town Council is working hard to make Moreton-in-Marsh better!

From the Chair

“I am delighted to finally launch our new website! Every Councillor that has joined Moreton-in-Marsh Town Council over the last few years has urged the Council to do more to communicate with local residents and bring people together. This website is a first step in keeping residents informed. While any new website takes a bit of getting used to, I hope this won’t take too long and you’ll be coming back here to discover what the Council is doing to overcome the challenges we face and build a better future.

The last couple of years have been very tough, but if the Covid-19 pandemic has taught us anything, it’s the value of supporting each other. The Town Council has always wanted to help the residents of this town since I joined a few years ago. I hope this website helps to share what we’ve been doing and make it easier for you to get involved too. Best wishes,”

Cllr Eileen Viviani, MBE, Chair of Moreton-in-Marsh Town Council
