Staffing update – new Clerk

The council would like to offer a warm welcome to Amanda Davis, who has taken on the role of Town Clerk, acting as “Proper Officer”, RFO (Responsible Finance Officer) and Burial Authority Officer.

Amanda brings with her a wealth of knowledge from a variety of roles, including various senior management positions in the public sector, 15 years in the NHS and a secondary Maths teacher.

As the Clerk, she will be responsible for ensuring that the instructions of the Council in connection with its function as a Local Authority are carried out.

We look forward to working with Amanda as she oversees the day-to-day operations and in conjunction with our Councillors, supports our active projects.
