Administrative Assistant to the Town Council

Part-time 20 hours per week, normally mornings

 

The Town Council are urgently looking for an Administrative Assistant to help the work of the Council and its small team of support workers in the Town Offices, Old Town.

The role will primarily be to act as the first point of contact for residents and external contacts using excellent inter-personal skills understanding the varied issues raised in a confidential manner.

This is ideally suited to somebody locally seeking part-time work with an office and administrative background who would like to help the Council achieve its daily work requirements and support the success of its long term goals for the community.

Salary grade: £19,650 – £20,043 p.a. pro-rata – £10,621 for 20 hours per week)

Competence in IT, such as word and excel, and working with the public would be an advantage.
